The Agência de Bibliotecas e Coleções Digitais (ABCD) is responsible for the systemic management of USP’s 60 libraries located in the university’ s Colleges, Institutes, Centers and Museums.
ABCD maintains the general catalog of the libraries’ collections, called Dedalus, which is USP’s Bibliographic Database that, in addition to providing access to records of books, theses, journals and other sources of information, allows students, professors and staff in general to borrow documents available in any of the university’s 60 libraries through unified lending. ABCD also offers a set of digital libraries and portals that present public and accessible content, when possible, thus providing access to the knowledge generated at the University and its collections.
