Here is my story at USP that I would like to share with the people and increase their motivation.
My story at USP started in 2019 as an international student accepted into the Ph.D. program in mechatronics. I started working on a project at IPT (Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas) supported by Fapesp (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo) to design and fabricate a MEMS accelerometer for landslide monitoring.
During this program and working plan, I registered for a double degree program at Ontario Tech University in Canada. Then I studied and used their equipment in Canada from 2022 to 2023 to complete the design and fabricate the sensor.
Then after that, I completed a Ph.D. in mechatronics at USP and another Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at Ontario Technical University. Currently, I am doing a postdoc at USP as well, working on a project at IAG (Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas).
Now I consider myself a part of the USP family and hopefully can contribute to more projects and bring more benefits to the Brazilian engineering community.
